Four Short Film Screenplays
By Ken Kreps

“The Velardi Project” is the story of a man who, being the victim of sophisticated mind control techniques, totally forgets his real life and assumes the life he has been programmed to live.  How he discovers what has happened to him (and why), and what he does about it, is at the heart of the story.  This is a high drama script with touches of humor.  Running time is approximately twenty-two minutes.

“The Last Supper” Tells the story of a ruthless, no morals business tycoon who is invited to a strange private dinner by an ultra secret society.   Upon arriving for dinner, he discovers an organization with a totally horrific agenda that he could never have imagined.  This film is also approximately twenty two minutes in length.

“The Case Of The Stolen Yugo” is a private eye comedy, farce set in Seattle.  The bumbling private eye lead character's inept handling of almost everything is only surpassed by the even greater incompetence of the people he comes in contact with, as he stumbles through his most recent case.  From his secretary, who gets everything wrong, to a police lieutenant with an infamous name, our private eye hero(?) sorts his way through a number of strange and off-beat characters.  This film will run approximately fifteen minutes.

“The Drifter” This mystery follows a drifter into a small seedy town.   Once there, he is offered $10,000 for one nights work in a murder for hire scheme.  The first twist is that the man hiring him is also the intended victim.  From there the film takes more unexpected twists and turns, in which several main characters are not at all what they first appear to be.  The film runs for just over twenty minutes
